Our Principal Investigator, Carolina Armengol, had the pleasure of participating in the XVII Solidarity Women’s Dinner in Lloret de Mar, an initiative by the Climent Guitart Foundation to raise funds for the ‘Molt x Viure’ program of AECC- Catalunya Against Cancer. This program supports women with breast cancer, improving their quality of life through psychological care, recreational activities, and volunteer support.
The event gathered around 300 women united in supporting those diagnosed with breast cancer.
During the dinner, Carolina shared the research we are conducting in pediatric liver cancer at IGTP, which she founded 14 years ago, and thanked AECC for their invaluable support in the PMed4HB project (pmed4hb.eu). Thanks to initiatives like this, we can bring our research closer to society and continue working towards a future without cancer.
