This week, two members of the PMed4HB consortium from the IGTP team, PhD students Andrea Castaneda and Queralt Miñarro, presented their latest progress on the project at the 7th Translational Hepatology Meeting, held on October 23–24 in Pamplona.

We are proud to share that our newest member, PhD student  Queralt Miñarro Ribot, presented a poster that was selected for a Flash Talk, where she showcased her work and won the Best Poster Blast Award! 🥇 Her poster, titled “Proteomic landscape of pediatric and adult liver cancer,” offered a fresh perspective using comparative proteomics to identify biomarkers of hepatoblastoma aggressiveness.

Our PhD student Andrea Castaneda also presented a poster focused on biomarker validation, titled “Validation of biomarkers in hepatoblastoma: an international effort to support their integration into the clinical setting.”

Congratulations to both of them for their outstanding representation of our team! We’re excited to see the next steps and discoveries that their work will bring.

A special thank you to the Asociación Española para el Estudio del Hígado (AEEH) for selecting our projects and giving us the opportunity to share our results with the scientific community.
