On Wednesday, October 22, we held the third annual meeting of the PMed4HB coordinated project consortium, funded by the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC). The project aims to advance toward personalized medicine in hepatoblastoma.

Thanks to this consortium, we are deepening our understanding of the most common liver cancer in childhood, hepatoblastoma, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of children diagnosed with liver cancer.

During the meeting, each team presented the progress achieved in their respective tasks, and new avenues for collaboration and synergy were discussed in order to advance toward the shared objectives of the project.

It was a meeting marked by harmony, teamwork, and shared enthusiasm to continue driving research in childhood cancer, with the ultimate aim of translating results into clinical practice 💪🧬

We would like to once again thank Dr. Matías Ávila (Cima University of Navarra) for organizing this annual meeting in the welcoming city of Pamplona, and Silvia Azpilicueta, representative of the AECC, for her positive and valuable feedback.

Thank you to everyone who believes in and supports our project!
