📣 We are thrilled to introduce Andrea Castaneda, a valued member of our team. She will conduct her PhD thesis in the context of the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer project PMed4HB (www.pmed4hb.eu) team.

Andrea has an impressive academic background from Portugal, with a Bachelor's in Medicinal Biotechnology from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and a Master's in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Lisbon. She has contributed to groundbreaking research on basal cell carcinoma at the Champalimaud Foundation and studied the p38 protein in cancer models at the IRB in Barcelona.

Andrea will focus on transcriptomic profiling of pediatric liver cancer tumors, both pre- and post-chemotherapy, while exploring predictive biomarkers for treatment response.
